Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
Sarcastic and ironic from beginning to end. It would seem that we're reading the typical love story but at the same time it's so different.
Austen narrates and talks about the protagonist and compares her with the typical protagonists of novels from that time. I really liked Catherine, her character is very likeabl.
It's very light to read, some parts might be a little boring but I think it's to lead to determined scenes in the story. You can finish it in less than a day, in an afternoon if you like.
The ending for me was a little rushed but you can see that it was like that because Austen wanted to be that way from the beginning.
