The Giver by Lois Lowry
I feel like I've read stories like this one over and over again.
Either way, it was well done and the pace was fast, but not too fast to feel like there was something missing. It was a good pace.
I enjoyed it very much, especially given the fact that the protagonist was a 12 year old kid. I think it was well done and developed.
I have a tiny problem with the ending though, it's too open for my liking. I thought it happened thomething that didn't.
